The Crossroads of Curiosity and Harmful Content

The Crossroads of Curiosity and Harmful Content

Helping Teens Navigate Sexual Content Online

February 10, 2026 | 1:00-2:30 pm

In today’s digital world, most teens will encounter sexual content online—often earlier and more unexpectedly than parents realize. While curiosity about bodies, relationships, and sexuality is a normal part of development, the internet does not always provide healthy or accurate information.

This webinar is designed to help parents understand how natural curiosity intersects with unfiltered online content, and how to guide teens through these experiences with empathy, communication, and practical boundaries. Participants will explore how and why teens are exposed, the potential impacts of harmful content, and realistic strategies for becoming a trusted source of guidance in their child’s life.

Rather than focusing on fear or shame, this session emphasizes prevention, connection, and digital literacy—helping families navigate the realities of online exposure while supporting healthy development.
