Back to School Supply Drive

August 1-17, 2026

Help a local teen begin the new school year feeling prepared and confident!

From August 1–17, Mission West Virginia is collecting school supplies and personal-care items for teens in foster and kinship care.

You can help in two ways:

ITEMS NEEDED

  • Mechanical pencils

  • Three-ring binders

  • Binder folders with pockets

  • Spiral notebooks

  • Colored pencils

  • Highlighters

  • Backpacks large enough for high school students

  • Men’s and women’s deodorant

  • Dry shampoo

DROP-OFF INFORMATION

Drop-off locations are available by appointment in Boone, Cabell, Clay, Kanawha, Lincoln, Putnam, and Wood counties.

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

Teens who collect donations may request a community service certificate for their participation.
